Don't break your braces!
Your treatment will progress quickly if you follow these simple rules: Brush your teeth at least 3 times per day; Resist chewing on pencils or ice cubes as they can cause your braces to break; Avoid sticky, chewy, hard foods and any foods that are high in sugar; Call the office if a wire or bracket is broken or causing discomfort; Ensure you visit your dentist regularly to have your teeth cleaned and checked for cavities; Schedule your appointments and keep them; Limit the number of breakages; Missing visits and excessive breakage will prolong your treatment. Remember: Do not eat hard pizza crusts, any type of nuts, hard kernels of popcorn, caramels, gummy bears, gum or toffee. Cut up apples and carrots into bite size pieces, remove meat from chicken wings and ribs and remove corn from the cob. Thank you for referring your friends & family members.
